“Fresh” “Sustainably Sourced” and “Flavoursome” “Relaxed Atmosphere” are some of the best words to describe The Loch Fyne Restaurants.

The good news is that there is a choice of 34 restaurants up and down the country in most major cities, serving fantastic seafood. As well as choices of delicious meat dishes, and as well as some delicious desserts. There is so much on offer with fresh seasonal seafood dishes and all beautifully presented.

The restaurants are open daily, many serving breakfast and great value set menus – while all serve an extensive à la carte menu accompanied by a comprehensive wine list.

I have to admit at this stage of my blog, that as well as always having been a big fan of the Loch Fyne Restaurants, we now have the honour of Carroll’s Heritage Potatoes actually featuring on the menu. So we are very keen to tell everyone all about the restaurants.

There is a super mix of seasonal varieties of Carroll’s Heritage Potatoes which adds great interest on the plate.

I recently had a good catch up with Gary Corken the Food Development Manager at Loch Fyne Restaurants, and he said to me:

“the addition of Carroll’s Heritage Potatoes into our restaurants has added real quality to our menu; it’s not just the taste, and colour but the great varieties that catch the eye and grab your attention. It’s an honour to serve our guests potatoes with as much variety as heritage and it’s great to do our part in keeping these brilliant, traditional varieties in circulation”

The over-arching theme of both our companies is the environmental work.

Loch Fyne’s philosophy being “NACHURRAMACH AN CUAN” (HOW WORTHY OF HONOUR IS THE SEA)
This gaelic saying encapsulates their philosophy – enterprise with respect for animals, people, and ecology.

At Carroll’s Heritage Potatoes the back bone of our farming enterprise is Linking Environment with Farming. We grow with a production system that balances the needs for safe healthy food that is grown with care for and the enhancement of the environment. http://potatoesforchefs.co.uk/about-us/#section-4

The combined work of both companies in the sea, and on the land provides you with the trust that you are being served the very best high quality of fish, meat, vegetables, and Carroll’s Heritage Potatoes.

Thank you so much for reading this blog. I hope you will be able to visit a Loch Fyne Restaurant very soon, and that you have a very enjoyable dining experience.
